''With a fresh nose and citrus foundation, this Vinho Verde Alvarinho has a wonderful sense of place. A fine example of the region's balance between clean acidity and ripe fruit roundness, there's a slat and pepper finish here with mineral notes. Three months lees ageing makes it a good match for garlic, chilli or other bigger flavours, so pair with chilli squid, chicken thighs or vegetable kebabs.
