“Overall very informative and practical with a well produced textbook and a very knowledgeable tutor. A must for anyone with an interest in wine”
– Aidan Gilhooly, Inishbofin
“Great credit should go to both Harriet and her able assistant William who were approachable and very helpful in relation to all aspects of the course”
– Damien Clancy, Cavan
“I thoroughly enjoyed the class with Harriet. She was very professional and organized. Harriet’s teaching is impeccable. Most importantly she was able to create an atmosphere where everyone felt free to ask any question, no matter how silly, and we were able to discuss it as a group. Her passion for wine really came through and it really infected all of us. It was so much fun and I was so sad when the course had finished. I will be back for the next level!”
– Klara Mike (WSET Level 2 course) Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud
“I recently attended the WSET Level 2 Award in Wine and Spirits course with tutor Harriet Tindal. Not coming from the trade but having great interest in the world of wine Harriet has brought my understanding of wine to a new level. I would highly recommend this course and Harriet’s exceptional skills in teaching to anyone wanting to further their knowledge of the wines and spirits of the world. I would like to thank Harriet for preparing me to take the next step in my wine journey which is the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits.”
– Maurice Stanley
“WSET level 2 with Harriet Tindal of Tindal Wine Merchants was a fantastic course. The number of participants was limited and the delivery of the course was second to none. Taking part in the course to further my own personal knowledge has just encouraged me to pursue this further. The selection of wines in the Tastings was excellent and Harriett’s knowledge of all regions was exceptional. I could not recommend taking any of the courses with Tindal Wine Merchants highly enough”
– Siobhan Smyth, St George’s Terrace Restaurant
Harriet Tindal has been teaching WSET courses since 2005 when she became a Programme Provider in East Anglia before returning to Ireland where she heads up Education at Tindal Wine Merchants. Having completed all the WSET qualifications including the Diploma in 2008, Harriet is now immersed in the final stages of her Master of Wine (MW) studies with just the research paper to complete. Recognising the need to bring her subject alive, real life stories taken from her many trips to wine regions across the globe, are integrated into the courses.
William Tindal has been living his life through wine in Ireland ever since he stepped off a surf board in Australia 7 years ago. Having passed his WSET Diploma in 2011, he has been teaching courses both in Dublin and the West/North West of the country for the past five years.
